Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 Why This Opportunity Stands Out: Gain exposure to complex, high-visibility construction accounting Work closely with executive leadership Influence process improvements, system enhancements, and modernization efforts Strong emphasis on career progression, mentorship, and professional development Opportunity to leverage technology and AI tools to optimize accounting operations Hybrid flexibility after ramp-up (1 day remote/week) Comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) match, wellness programs, and PTO Key Responsibilities for the Assistant Controller: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting Support month-end/year-end close and review financial statements Lead AP function and partner on process improvements across teams Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management Maintain internal controls and ensure GAAP compliance Support audits, tax preparation, and regulatory reporting Qualifications for the Assistant Controller: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 7-12+ years of progressive accounting experience (construction/job costing/WIP preferred) Strong knowledge of GAAP; CPA preferred Experience with construction ERP systems (CMiC a plus) Equal Opportunity Employer.
