About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks with possible extension Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years required, travel experience preferred License: Compact or state license in hand Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: EPIC proficiency, IV start skills, telemetry interpretation skills Description: Position available in a beautiful coastal region. Ideal for outdoor enthusiasts with numerous trails and waterways to explore. Patient ratios are 1:7; candidates must be aware of this before submission. Facility requires candidates to have no prior license or background hits. Candidates must have IV start and telemetry interpretation skills. BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required. Candidates must include all required time off information. Candidates' permanent address must be more than 50 miles from the facility. Current address must be included with submission. Float, holiday work, and weekend coverage are part of the contract. Modules must be completed pre-start. Candidates must undergo EKG testing with a minimum passing score of 80% to continue with orientation. This test covers various rhythm interpretations and measurements. All candidates must review and prepare accordingly prior to the start date. Candidates must have excellent communication skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
