About the Position

We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
• One year experience as an RRT
• BLS certification
• RRT certification
• ACLS certification

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1900-0730
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
• No call required
• Work assignments may include step-down and floor coverage
• Average patient load includes 8 vented patients in a unit
• Floor assignments may include 3-4 floors
• Average of 2-3 intrahospital transports per shift, including CT, MRI, and Specials
• Equipment used: Servo i vent, V60 BiPAP, iStat for ABG analysis
