This role involves working in an acute care setting, with a focus on providing exceptional care for patients with conditions ranging from cellulitis and sepsis to liver and kidney failure. Nurses will be immersed in a dynamic and supportive environment equipped with remote telemetry monitoring and a robust electronic scheduling system.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Administer care to patients with acute medical conditions such as cellulitis, sepsis, and dehydration
• Manage central lines, tracheostomies, and chest tubes
• Assist with vital signs, accucheks, and ADLs through collaboration with PCTs
• Utilize EPIC for charting and monitoring
• Participate in floating rotations within the facility as needed

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Active IL license or proof of application initiation
• BLS certification required
• Experience with central lines, tracheostomies, and chest tubes
• EPIC experience preferred
• Prior travel experience on a MedSurg floor preferred
