Job Description Job Description Job Summary: * We are seeking a hands-on Design Engineer with a strong ownership mindset to lead the end-to-end design and development of complete systems. * This role is ideal for someone who has taken products from concept through development and delivery, with deep involvement in system-level design rather than individual components. * The ideal candidate will come from an automation or manufacturing environment and remain actively engaged in engineering work, bringing practical expertise in designing and delivering complex systems. Responsibilities: * Lead the full system design and development lifecycle from concept through production * Own system architecture, design decisions, and technical execution * Develop and integrate mechanical systems, assemblies, and automation solutions * Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, controls, and project teams * Drive design validation, prototyping, and system improvements * Ensure designs meet performance, cost, and manufacturability requirements * Support continuous improvement and optimization initiatives Requirements: * 5 - 10 years of experience in mechanical or systems design * Proven experience in end-to-end system design ownership * Strong background in automation systems or manufacturing environments * Hands-on experience with design, development, and system integration * Ability to work independently with a high level of technical ownership * A true hands-on engineer, not a program manager or people leader * Someone who has designed complete systems, not just components or sub-parts * A candidate with a strong ownership mindset and track record of delivering products * Currently active in engineering and design work Education: * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Company Description Zobility (RGBSI), is dedicated to providing the highest quality of services to our clients and employees.
