Position Information Posting Number: SF2535P Position Title: Academic Program Specialist Position Type: Classified Staff/Hourly Department: School of Management - Troy Division: Sorrell College of Business Campus: Troy Work Status: Full-Time (FT) Temporary: No Location: Troy - T01 Job Summary The Academic Program Specialist provides administrative support and manages a variety of academic and departmental processes for the School of Management. The position reports to the School Director. Duties and responsibilities include general office duties; internship and recruiting responsibilities and duties; event planning activities and duties; student support; scholarship assistance; schedule, coordinate, and plan meetings; assist with faculty meetings; responsible for all record-keeping and filing of required contracts and essential record-keeping information; assist faculty as needed; and assist visitors to the School. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of one year of customer service experience Preferred Qualifications Ability to work with all types of people Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft computer programs Organized in scheduling, record keeping and filing Ability to multi-task and handle several projects at one time Experience with Datatel Other Details Driving Requirement: Driving may be necessary but is not a primary responsibility.
