The OPM responsible for supporting the overall manufacturing operations for a large program or suite of programs within a product line portfolio with annual revenue between $5M and $10M. They are expected to oversee and coordinate all operational aspects of ongoing programs and serves as a liaison between program management, project team, and factory management. This can include financial performance on the programs which includes responsibilities as Cost Account Manager and performing Estimate at Complete. The OPM will make decisions for the direction of the program related to manufacturing plans and Cost Reduction Initiatives. It is also imperative the OPM has a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the production organization concerned with the assembly and processing operations, including a thorough understanding of manufacturing related policies/procedures and quality and customer requirements.What You Will Do:Total program life cycle execution from bid/proposal through development/EDM, transition to deliver, production, and depot/sustainment.Program Planning, Capacity Analysis, Schedule Management, Resource Planning, and Manufacturing Execution Lead Process improvement initiativesCoordinate Material Management Activities with Supply ChainMonitor and control budget: Estimate at Complete (EAC) development, analysis and presentation, understanding and use of Earned Value Management (EVM), and risk and opportunity managementInterface with both internal and external customers at Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), Gates, EACs, Program Management Reviews (PMRs), and customer visits/tours.Qualifications You Must Have:Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experienceExperience in an operations, manufacturing, program, cross-functional, or equivalent environmentAbility to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date U.S. Citizen - The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
