Base salary starting at $115,000+ depending on experience 10% incentive bonus based on company performance Employer covers 80% of employee benefits (health, dental, vision) 6% dollar-for-dollar 401(k) match Relocation assistance available based on distance with a two-year agreement Consistent full-time schedule with overtime opportunities based on operational needs Paid time off and holidays Career advancement opportunities within a well-established mining operation Access to ongoing technical and leadership development Why You’ll Love It Here Work with a team that values accountability, safety, and high performance Be part of an operation where your leadership directly impacts production success Strong emphasis on safety, compliance, and continuous improvement Collaborative environment between maintenance and operations teams Leadership that supports growth, initiative, and problem-solving Your New Role Lead and supervise mobile fleet maintenance operations in Mullan, ID Work a schedule consisting of 13-hour shifts on a 4/4–5/5 rolling schedule Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive maintenance, reactive repairs, and emergency breakdown response Coordinate with maintenance planners and operations to maximize equipment uptime and efficiency Manage and direct maintenance crews, assigning work orders and ensuring performance standards are met Oversee contract maintenance work on-site Ensure accurate CMMS documentation, including work orders, timecards, and reporting Monitor spare parts inventory to ensure availability and minimize downtime Enforce high standards of safety, quality, and productivity across all maintenance activities Participate in risk assessments, SOP development, and continuous improvement initiatives Inspect ongoing and completed work to ensure reliability and compliance Lead by example in MSHA compliance, environmental responsibility, and company policies Hiring Expectations Apply today, complete a quick phone screening, and get ready for an interview with our team to discuss your goals and experience. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred 3–5+ years of maintenance experience in mining, heavy equipment, or similar environments Experience working with underground or surface mining equipment Strong knowledge of diesel, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred Proficiency with CMMS systems and Microsoft Excel Strong understanding of preventive maintenance programs and equipment lifecycle management Ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and handle high-pressure situations Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills MSHA 40-hour certification (or ability to obtain) ATF possessor clearance required Ability to pass a physical exam and drug screening Hecla Limited is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
