Janitorial Associate - 1st Shift

Pay: $17.00/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Employment Type: Temporary Position

Entech Staffing Solutions is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Associate for a well-established manufacturing facility to join their team on 1st shift. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment throughout the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors as needed
• Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners
• Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
• Check and replace batteries in dispensers as needed
• Unclog sinks, toilets, and drains using appropriate tools and cleaning products
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain janitorial supply areas
• Report safety concerns, maintenance issues, and repair needs to management
• Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping experience
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
• Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
