The Warehouse Associate - Forklift Driver is responsible for supporting warehouse operations through the accurate receiving, storage, replenishment, selection, and shipment of inventory. This role utilizes powered material handling equipment to move products safely and efficiently while ensuring inventory accuracy and compliance with company safety standards. The position also supports quality operations through pallet breakdown, loading and unloading activities, and general warehouse functions. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and experienced in warehouse and logistics environments.

Job Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process inbound shipments to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Prepare and ship outbound freight according to established procedures and customer requirements.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently using powered material handling equipment.
• Replenish inventory in designated warehouse, self-service, and sales floor locations.
• Accurately select, stage, and prepare products for customer orders and deliveries.
• Utilize inventory management systems and technology to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Operate forklifts, powered pallet jacks, and other approved warehouse equipment.
• Break down pallets and move materials throughout the warehouse as needed.
• Support quality department operations through material handling and inventory processing activities.
• Operate cardboard balers and other warehouse equipment according to safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, safety standards, and security requirements.
• Assist with inventory counts, stock organization, and general warehouse operations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years of warehouse, logistics, distribution, or related experience.
• Loading and unloading experience required.
• Forklift operation experience required.
• Ability to obtain certification on powered material handling equipment if not currently certified.
• Experience operating forklifts, powered pallet jacks, or similar equipment.
• Ability to accurately handle inventory and complete warehouse transactions.
• Basic computer and inventory system experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, reach, and perform physical tasks throughout the duration of the shift.

Work Experience

• Minimum two years of warehouse, logistics, distribution, shipping and receiving, or material handling experience required.
• Previous forklift operation experience required.
• Experience with inventory management and warehouse technology preferred.
• Experience loading and unloading freight required.
• Quality, manufacturing, or distribution center experience preferred.
