Exciting Opportunity for an OBGYN Generalist/Hospitalist

Our organization is actively seeking both full-time and part-time OBGYN generalists/hospitalists to join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at a prominent Los Angeles County facility, which serves as a key teaching hospital for the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. The OBGYN Generalist Division is expanding rapidly and currently comprises 9 full-time faculty members, along with several part-time roles and advanced practice providers. In this role, attending physicians will serve as primary care providers while also supervising residents and medical students in both inpatient and outpatient environments. This position offers the potential for an academic faculty appointment at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.

The OBGYN Generalist/Hospitalist will be responsible for:

• Delivering exceptional care within a collaborative team-oriented framework.
• Enjoying a flexible yet structured schedule, which may include 12-hour shifts.
• Providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecological services for inpatients, including managing high-risk pregnancies, labor and delivery, emergency consultations, surgical procedures, and postoperative care.
• Performing both routine and advanced procedures, such as vaginal and cesarean deliveries, gynecological surgeries, and necessary emergency interventions.
• Offering care in our outpatient OBGYN clinics.
• Participating in departmental meetings and educational conferences.
• Engaging in ongoing education and training to remain updated on the latest advancements in OBGYN practices and technologies.
• Contributing to the education and supervision of medical students, residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals.
• Assisting in the development of clinical protocols and participating in quality improvement and research initiatives as needed.

Qualifications We Are Looking For:

We are in search of a dedicated, skilled, and professional individual who meets the following criteria:

• Board certified or eligible in OB/GYN.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in California.
• Previous experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Exceptional patient care abilities.
• A strong passion for medical education.

• A collaborative spirit and ability to thrive in a team setting.
