Location Washington, DC (onsite) Experience Minimum eight years of professional web design experience, including a proven track record of designing and implementing user-friendly websites. Education Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field. Responsibilities Design and implement accessible, user-friendly websites that align with client requirements and company standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define requirements, set project timelines, and deliver high-quality web solutions. Optimize designs for multiple devices and browsers to maintain a consistent look and feel across platforms. Apply established best practices in web design and development to enhance user experience and accessibility. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and security protocols to inform design strategies. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of web applications to ensure functionality and performance. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers and developers as needed. Ensure security compliance, including maintaining an active TS/SCI clearance and passing a CI Poly clearance. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field. At least eight years of professional web design experience with a proven track record of creating user-centered websites. Extensive experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages and frameworks. Proficiency with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) and other industry-standard tools. Experience partnering with cross-functional teams, including developers, content creators, and marketing specialists, to produce cohesive and visually appealing web designs. Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to pass a CI Polygraph. Strong understanding of responsive design principles to ensure seamless functionality across devices and platforms. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts to stakeholders. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently or as part of a team.
