Job Description

The Acute Care Physical Therapist will provide specialized care to patients in a short-term acute care setting. This role involves conducting patient evaluations, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to promote recovery and rehabilitation.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment goals and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 1 year of acute care experience.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license required.
• Experience with the Epic charting system is preferred.
• Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) are necessary.
