Occupational Therapist (OT)

The Occupational Therapist (OT) provides direct rehabilitation care in occupational therapy to patients based on physician referrals, adhering to all relevant laws and standards. Key Responsibilities Develop, assess, and modify patient treatment plans focused on activities of daily living. Oversee and evaluate care provided by OTAs, Rehab Aides, and students. Accurately document patient progress and utilize therapy software effectively. Establish and monitor realistic, measurable, and functional goals. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and maintain professional relationships. Participate in community health initiatives as appropriate. Assist in patient evacuation and demonstrate dependable attendance. Ensure safety, confidentiality, and compliance with policies and regulations. Qualifications & Skills NBCOT certification required; renewal optional. Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program (BSOT or MSOT). Active licensure in applicable state; CPR certification required. Preferred: one year of experience, but new grads are welcome. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email; excellent communication skills. Ability to make independent decisions, demonstrate good body mechanics, and work effectively as part of a team. Knowledge of post-acute care practices, laws, and regulations. Additional Requirements: Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and adhere to company policies, including the Code of Conduct.
