General Clerk
Our client, a leading organization in the automotive industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented General Clerk to join their team. As a General Clerk, you will be an essential part of the administrative support team, contributing to the smooth operation of the Portage location. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will help you succeed and grow within the organization.
Location: Portage, IN
Pay Range: $15.75
Shift: 1st Shift (4:00 AM - 12:00 PM)
What's the Job?
- Manually prepare purchase orders for signature and processing
- Answer telephones and direct calls appropriately
- Type correspondence and maintain accurate records for managers
- Maintain and organize the site's files and documentation
- Perform miscellaneous clerical duties as required to support daily operations
What's Needed?
- Ability to work the specified shift reliably
- Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules diligently
- Strong reading, understanding, and following instructions
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, reach, and operate office equipment as needed
