Broadridge is growing! We are seeking an enthusiastic Senior Director, Software Engineering (Java & MuleSoft) to join our team. The role involves designing, developing, modifying, and implementing short- and long-term solutions to technology needs through new and existing applications, systems architecture, network systems, and application infrastructure. Responsibilities include reviewing system requirements and business processes; coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and implementing software solutions; providing application services in a defined project; developing program logic for new applications; ensuring system improvements are successfully implemented; and working in an Agile development environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement advanced software solutions using new and existing technologies.
• Analyze system requirements and business processes to create effective and sustainable technical solutions.
• Write, test, debug, and document code according to established engineering standards and best practices.
• Ensure system upgrades, integrations, and enhancements are delivered successfully.
• Serve as a technical lead on projects, providing guidance and mentorship to junior developers when needed.
• Apply advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills to develop innovative and efficient solutions.
• Recommend process improvements, technology upgrades, and integration strategies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across teams to align software solutions with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of 10 years of professional software development experience.
• At least 5 years of experience developing and integrating solutions with MuleSoft.
• Proven expertise in application development, system architecture, and integration frameworks.
• Ability to interpret business challenges and translate them into robust technical solutions.
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience working independently and in cross‑functional, Agile development environments.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $165,000 - $175,000. Bonus Eligible.
