Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D) in Clearlake, California. Start date: 08/17/2026. Duration: 9 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,459-$2,466 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 3x12 nights. This is a travel - temporary assignment in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to women from childbearing through geriatric years and care for infants up to 28 days old, in collaboration with other disciplines
- Assess patient status, develop individualized plans of care, set nursing priorities, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes
- Administer medications and IV fluids per policy; manage narcotics and med administration following unit procedures
- Document assessments, plans, interventions, and patient responses in the clinical record; communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team
- Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care; participate in care coordination and discharge planning
- Maintain a clean, safe unit environment; respond promptly to emergencies and coordinate care with multidisciplinary team members

Requirements
- Current, valid RN license
- Experience in Women’s Care Unit or Labor & Delivery setting preferred; ability to provide care across infant, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
- Ability to perform age-appropriate assessments and develop individualized care plans; strong documentation and communication skills
- Proficiency in safe medication administration, IV therapy, and patient/family education; comfortable coordinating with other disciplines
- Availability to work the 3x12 night shift schedule and participate in a travel assignment
