Embark on a meaningful contract opportunity as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst supporting a dynamic educational environment. This full-time, itinerant position offers the chance to collaborate across multiple school sites in the area, providing essential behavioral support to both general and special education students. The assignment will run from your start date through late May 2027, with 37.5 hours per week on-site and a focus on immediate impact.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and active Texas BCBA license
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly desired
- Strong foundation in writing Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) for diverse student populations
- Proven ability to coach, train, and mentor school staff as well as supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
- Flexibility and adaptability for itinerant responsibilities throughout the district
- Commitment to timely completion of all credentialing requirements, including state fingerprinting (if not previously cleared for public school service)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive FBAs for general and special education students, supporting equity and positive outcomes
- Deliver high-quality training to educators and support staff in behavioral strategies and best practices
- Oversee and provide guidance to RBTs working within the school district
- Travel to multiple campuses as assigned, responding to the evolving needs of student populations
- Maintain accurate records and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams
