Red Rhino Remedies Receptionist Vista, CA·Full time Apply for Receptionist Wellgreens, a brand-new dispensary company, is looking for receptionists to join our team at our current location in Vista. Our receptionists are responsible for assisting patients and customers in all aspects of their experience at Wellgreens. A general understanding of cannabis and dispensaries is preferred, but there will be plenty of training to guide you. This position works to ensure customers feel welcome in the store. They must maintain a positive attitude and be able to interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds and will greet all customers with a smile entering the store and check them into our POS system while verifying that the customer is eligible to purchase cannabis. Description Duties and Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Deliver an EXCEPTIONAL customer experience in person, online, and over the phone – greeting, pleasantries, rapport, professional presentation, ensure a safe comfortable experience. Be knowledgeable of all special including in house daily deals and Weedmaps daily deals. Participate in staff events, outings and promotional events As possible, read industry publications to keep up to date on trends (articles posted by management are required reading) Remain familiar with industry compliance and regulatory requirements as applicable to retail operations (such as: Medical versus Recreational, weight conversions, minimum age purchasing laws, etc.) Knowledgeable on all cannabis products we carry and on cannabinoids, terpenes, and methods of cannabis consumption as it relates to sales of cannabis products Understanding sales techniques, memorizing prices, product benefits and product information Maintain cleanliness of areas during downtime Ensure you are on time for each shift and ready for work (Such as: cleanliness of your uniform and you have all tools at your station prepared for your shift) Assist on sales floor when needed, online ordering, curbside pick‑ups, and phone orders (Such as: Weedmaps, Dutchie) Perform other duties or projects as assigned by any other Shift Lead, Manager or Supervisor Qualifications 21+ years of age or older Be able to input and access information in point of sales (POS) systems Must be able to follow all company cash handling policies and always maintain an accurate cash drawer Have reliable transportation and be punctual for all shifts, meetings and outings Must be able to meet and uphold all of Wellgreens standards Successfully in passing a background check 1+ years of receptionist experience Schedule and Availability 40+ hours a week, Weekends and Holidays are REQUIRED Days off During the Week between Monday and Thursday Work schedule will be sent out two weeks in advance Skills and Attitudes Must be motivated, hardworking, and passionate about cannabis Strong multitasker with the ability to handle multiple duties and responsibilities Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy, prioritize and organize Be a clear thinker, remain calm, and resolve problems using good judgment Follow directions thoroughly and understand guest needs Work cohesively and professionally with co‑workers Education High School diploma or GED (Required) Physical Demands/Requirements Must be able to stand/walk for up to 6 hours at a time Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds safely and properly, as required Ability to work in a stressful, fast‑paced environment Must be able to work days, nights, holidays and weekends Medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds Must be available to work full‑time Environmental Conditions Occasionally small and/or enclosed spaces Must wear a mask if not fully vaccinated Dusting and cleaning all areas of the facility such as storefront, bathrooms, break areas Mopping /sweeping and wiping down counters, doors and windows Health Benefits (Company Contribution) 401k Program Employee Discount 40% off Commission Free Merch Holiday pay Compensation: $15.50-$17.00 per hour (doe) + TIPS + COMMISSION.
