We have a challenging opportunity for an Inventory Control Coordinato r. Hourly rate: $22.29 Shift: 6am-close Job Summary: The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for monitoring, processing and verifying inbound and outbound shipments in the facility by physically sorting customer shipments, verifying inventory detail by comparing actual inventory to paperwork and otherwise ensuring precise control and record-keeping. This position functions in an armed environment and requires the enforcement of rules to protect the premises and property of Brink's and its customers, as well as the safety of all on the premises of Brink's. Key Responsibilities: u00b7 Accept and deliver shipments of precious metals for BGS or outside carrier u00b7 Perform audits on existing inventory u00b7 Check in shipment from document provided, match pre-advised inventory detail to physical inventory u00b7 Complete necessary, audit-compliant paperwork for incoming and outgoing shipments u00b7 Prepare shipments of precious metal to be sent out of facility, using allocation report (or other) u00b7 Physically distribute individual precious metals to conform to customer requests and/or exchange warrants u00b7 Coordinate and work directly with Global Services supervisory and ops staff u00b7 Ensure that all forms and packages are handled appropriately u00b7 Assist with projects as necessary u00b7 Provide security by adhering to the General Security regulations u00b7 Work between BGS Precious Metal Vault locations as business dictates u00b7 Work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime as required u00b7 Perform other duties as assigned or necessary Minimum Qualifications: u00b7 Minimum of 21 years of age u00b7 A valid firearms permit or ability to pass applicable firearms licensing requirements u00b7 A valid guard card or ability to obtain a guard card or any other required licenses u00b7 Ability to lift 50 pounds u00b7 Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime as may be required to meet business demands. Preferred Qualifications: u00b7 Experience in the freight or security transportation business u00b7 Experience providing efficient and accurate customer services for import/export customers. u00b7 High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency Professional Skills: u00b7 Excellent work history of dependability, cooperation and teamwork u00b7 Works well under pressure; maintains composure and thinks clearly u00b7 Good verbal and written communication skills.
