Middle Equipment Operator - Rayburn - Primoris Energy Services

Equipment Operator Primoris Energy Services is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Equipment Operator to join our team for a project at 24005 Rayburn. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of various heavy equipment used in energy services construction projects. Job Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment including, but not limited to, excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, trenchers, and forklifts in a safe and efficient manner. Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections of equipment, including checking fluid levels, tires, and all safety devices. Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment as needed. Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and governmental regulations (OSHA, etc.). Interpret and follow instructions from supervisors, including blueprints, schematics, and work orders. Maintain accurate daily logs of equipment operation, maintenance, and work performed. Communicate effectively with crew members, supervisors, and other personnel on site. Ensure proper care and handling of all tools and equipment. Participate in daily safety meetings and contribute to a safe working environment. Perform general labor duties as required when not operating equipment. Job Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or energy services environment. Proven ability to safely and efficiently operate multiple types of heavy equipment. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is a plus. OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour construction certification preferred. Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions. Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all safety regulations. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, climb, and perform other physical tasks associated with the job. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and on uneven terrain. Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required by project demands. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
