Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Role: The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) provides direct speech therapy rehab care to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting. Responsibilities: Assess, develop, and modify treatment plans; collaborate with an interdisciplinary team; oversee and evaluate therapy provided by CFYs (for CCC-certified SLPs); document patient progress; utilize therapy software; ensure patient safety and satisfaction; participate in community health projects; maintain professional relationships and confidentiality; and follow all policies and regulations. Qualifications & Skills: MS or MA in speech therapy from an accredited program; current licensure and ASHA certification or eligibility; CPR certification; proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong communication, decision-making, and professionalism skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; and the physical ability to perform essential functions. Key Duties: Establish and evaluate goals, chart accurately, assist in patient evacuation, and demonstrate dependable attendance while adhering to compliance standards.
