Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Current OT licensure in Michigan
• Prior experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
• Strong skills in assessment, intervention planning, and progress monitoring
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Flexibility, adaptability, and an approachable attitude for diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
• Document progress and maintain accurate, timely records
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to integrate OT strategies into the classroom
• Offer support and training for school staff on implementing accommodations and adaptive equipment
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student-centered goals
