As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a key role in maintaining our apartment community by completing service requests, preparing vacant apartments for new residents, and ensuring our grounds and common areas remain clean, safe, and welcoming.
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative and maintenance and repair work in areas including, but not limited to, appliances, carpentry, hardware, and basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Complete assigned service requests and repairs in accordance with company operating procedures and standards.
- Assist in preparing vacant apartments to ensure they are market-ready and meet company quality standards.
- Maintain community grounds and curb appeal and trash management.
- Be available for on call activity during off hours and emergencies as needed
- Maintain good public relations with residents and vendors
- Assist with annual apartment inspections and identifying action items
- Report violations of lease and house rules
- Timely completion of maintenance request, work orders and ensure tenant’s maintenance needs are being met
- Work with manager to schedule vendors and order necessary supplies
- Maintaining excellent curb appeal
- Help maintaining excellent curb appeal

Requirements:Job Requirements for Maintenance Technician I:
- Minimum 6 months to 1 year of apartment maintenance experience .
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, unit turns, and general maintenance repairs .
- Experience completing work orders and preparing vacant units for new residents.
- Ability to perform minor repairs such as patching walls, painting, and replacing hardware.
- Basic computer skills and ability to navigate web-based applications.
- Strong customer service skills with a resident-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions and receive feedback.
- Ability to work a regular schedule of Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM .
- Participation in an on-call rotation as needed .
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance required.
