Location: Chandler, AZ
Pay: $75,000 - $90,000 DOE
Schedule: Monday - Friday | Full-Time | On-Site

Our client is seeking a Senior Sourcing Specialist II / III to join their growing procurement team. This is a strategic sourcing role designed for an experienced professional who can independently manage supplier relationships, lead sourcing initiatives, negotiate complex agreements, and drive measurable cost savings across multiple commodity groups.


This is not a procurement analyst role. We are looking for a true sourcing expert who has a proven track record of supplier development, strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and sourcing technical or industrial products in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do:

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives across multiple product categories and commodities
• Identify, evaluate, qualify, and develop new suppliers to support customer and business requirements
• Manage complex RFQs, supplier bids, and sourcing projects from concept through implementation
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, service agreements, and supplier performance metrics
• Drive supplier performance improvements related to quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness
• Partner with sales, operations, engineering, and leadership teams to identify sourcing solutions
• Conduct market analysis and supplier benchmarking to identify savings opportunities
• Develop supplier strategies that reduce risk and improve supply continuity
• Lead cost-reduction initiatives and value engineering projects
• Support technical product sourcing requests and customer-driven requirements
• Mentor junior sourcing team members and contribute to process improvements
• Build and maintain long-term strategic supplier partnerships

What You Need to Have:

• 5+ years of sourcing, procurement, or supply chain experience
• Strong experience sourcing technical, industrial, manufacturing, MRO, electrical, automation, or engineered products
• Proven success negotiating contracts, supplier agreements, and pricing structures
• Experience managing high-value supplier relationships
• Strong understanding of strategic sourcing methodologies
• Ability to analyze supplier performance and implement improvement initiatives
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills
• Experience managing multiple sourcing projects simultaneously
• Strong business acumen and decision-making abilities

The Musts:

• SAP experience is required
• Proven strategic sourcing experience
• Supplier development and supplier management expertise
• Contract negotiation experience
• Experience sourcing technical or industrial products
• Ability to independently manage sourcing projects from start to finish
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Comfortable working fully on-site
• Demonstrated history of driving cost savings and supplier improvements

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field
• Experience supporting semiconductor, electronics, pharmaceutical, medical device, or advanced manufacturing industries
• Experience sourcing industrial components, automation products, MRO supplies, critical spares, or engineered products
• Experience leading supplier consolidation initiatives
• Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience
• Experience mentoring or leading junior sourcing professionals
