Job Responsibilities

• Execute thorough patient evaluations, which include conducting physical examinations and meticulously analyzing medical histories
• Assist in the evaluation and diagnosis of surgical conditions through effective interpretation of diagnostic imaging and laboratory results
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical plans for patients
• Provide intraoperative assistance, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring correct patient positioning, and handling surgical instruments during surgeries
• Deliver exceptional pre-operative and post-operative care, encompassing medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and comprehensive patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a strong preference for surgical exposure

Licensures and Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Certification in both BLS and ACLS is mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
