Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

$3590.40/week - Job Summary: Provide specialized nursing care in labor and delivery, focusing on high-risk OB patients in a fast-paced environment. Ensure the safety and well-being of mothers and infants through advanced clinical skills and compassionate support. Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality obstetric care for high-risk patients, including managing magnesium and insulin drips. Conduct fetal monitoring and respond promptly to any signs of distress. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Maintain accurate documentation using EMR systems such as CPN/Meditech. Adhere to all unit policies, safety protocols, and guidelines for maternal and neonatal care. Assist in procedures, including circulating and scrubbing for OB interventions, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications: Hold a valid RN license with at least 1 year of travel experience in high-risk L&D settings. Be certified in BLS, ACLS, and NRP; all certifications must be current and included in submission. Demonstrate intermediate fetal monitoring skills and experience with OBED procedures. Show ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, high-volume, high-acuity environment. Have reliable availability with a start date within 5-7 days of offer.
