Corporate Energy Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a junior associate to join its Corporate practice in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have experience advising on complex energy, infrastructure, and corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, project development, and strategic investments. Experience with renewable energy and cross-border matters is preferred. Duties Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support transactions Draft legal documents, including memos and contracts Assist in managing complex transactions from inception to resolution Build and maintain strong client relationships Collaborate with colleagues to develop transaction strategies Ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations Participate in professional development opportunities Engage in firm programs and community involvement Requirements 1-3 years of corporate, energy, or infrastructure transactional experience Familiarity with tax equity financings and complex investment arrangements is a plus Experience with M&A, project development, and joint venture transactions Education JD degree from an accredited law school Certifications Admitted to practice in the state of California Skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Strong research and analytical skills Attention to detail and good judgment Ability to work collaboratively and independently Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance. 401(k) plan. #J-18808-Ljbffr BCG Attorney Search
