Energy Advisory Associate – JLLWhat this job involves:JLL's Energy Advisory team is seeking an Energy Advisory Associate to serve in a dynamic and multi-faceted role supporting Project Delivery team activities while playing a key role in project origination and proposal development. This position offers a unique opportunity to support the full project lifecycle with a focus on delivery of clean energy and infrastructure solutions. You will work in close coordination with senior project managers, providing technical and analytical support that directly contributes to JLL's mission of delivering transformative real estate and energy solutions for our clients.What your day-to-day will look like:Project Delivery & Execution Support project delivery activities including internal execution, timeline adherence, and stakeholder coordination in close partnership with senior project managersDevelop pricing tools and pro-forma financial and project-level models to evaluate asset valuations, support feasibility assessments, and inform commercial contracting decisionsProduce planning and strategy documents, technical and financial feasibility analyses, PowerPoint presentations, and technical memorandaServe as client point of contact, present initiatives, and maintain ongoing communication throughout the project lifecycleOrigination & Business Development Conduct energy market and real estate industry analysis in collaboration with JLL research and origination teams to identify opportunities and support business developmentSupport project pricing analysis and commercial/risk reviews as needed for proposals and sales enablementCarry out research tasks supporting client deliverables, including market and industry assessmentsCross-Functional Responsibilities Ensure seamless transition from origination to execution phaseProvide guidance and mentorship to junior team membersDemonstrate innovative thinking and proactive problem-solving across both origination and delivery functionsContribute thought leadership and bring new ideas and solutions to clientsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Economics, Environmental Studies, Business, or related technical field3-5 years of professional experience in energy or infrastructure project finance and development, with exposure to both project execution and business developmentPreferred Qualifications:Experience in consulting or client-facing roles within the energy sectorUnderstanding of clean energy technologies including renewable energy, distributed energy resources, EV charging infrastructure, and/or microgridsFamiliarity with commercial real estate energy solutionsProfessional certifications (e.g., PMP, CEM, LEED)Track record of contributing to successful project deliverables and executionProven ability to manage and deliver on multiple projects simultaneously, on time and within budgetStrong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience developing client-facing materials and presenting to stakeholdersExcellent problem-solving skills with capability to conduct market analysis and financial feasibility assessmentsLocation: Chicago, NYC, or Washington DC (Hybrid, M-F 8-5)Salary/Comp: Estimated salary: $90,000 - $125,000At JLL, we are collectively shaping a brighter way — for our clients, ourselves and our fellow employees.
