About This Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized lead toddler teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing curriculum that addresses the educational needs of young children who are not yet due to enter kindergarten. As a lead toddler teacher, you will be required to manage teaching staff within your department to ensure that students' needs are met. In this position, you will also be tasked with creating lesson plans that track and report on students' progress, while ensuring that classes remain safe and conducive to learning. To achieve success as a lead toddler teacher, it is essential to possess strong leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal skills, as well as a keen interest in early childhood education. You will work closely with each family to understand their toddler's needs and establish effective relationships. As a lead toddler teacher, you will be the driving force behind curriculum development, implementation, and continuous improvement. You will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with legal and educational guidelines.

To ensure success as a lead toddler teacher, you should be compassionate and able to work well under pressure.

• Formulating and implementing curriculum that cater to the basic and educational needs of toddlers.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with each family to ensure that their toddler's needs are met.
• Establishing and leading staff and parent meetings.
• Organizing and engaging in occasional team-building activities.
• Documenting and reporting on students' progress.
• Ensuring compliance with legal and educational guidelines to maintain toddlers' well-being.

• Valid state license or equivalent.
• Associate's or CDA in early childhood education.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Prior experience teaching toddlers.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• A keen interest in early childhood education.

We value staff who are passionate about early childhood education and have a keen interest in implementing Creative Curriculum. While not mandatory, prior experience working with toddlers in a licensed facility is highly desirable. Additionally, holding a CDA is a plus. Bumble bees is a small ratio center that offers opportunities for growth and professional development. Payrate will depend on your experience and education level.
