Job Overview As a Cook at Nifty Fifty’s, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients and crafting meals to provide guests with high‑quality food. Your role is vital in ensuring an exceptional meal experience and delivering outstanding customer service that makes guests feel like part of the Nifty’s family. Responsibilities and Duties Prep, set up, and work the grill station Maintain product presentation, quality, portion, and cook time standards Practice sanitary and safe food handling in accordance with state board of health regulations Slice and chop meat, cheese, and other necessary food products Maintain proper food inventories in both the station and walk‑in/freezer Communicate with servers/cashiers professionally regarding customer orders Clean and sanitize the work area throughout the shift Clean, sanitize, and turn off equipment at the end of the night Complete daily and weekly cleaning projects Assist with other additional tasks management may need assistance with Qualifications & Requirements Ability to place items on high and low shelves Ability to stand for long periods of time Capable of using knives, slicing equipment, and other preparation materials Carry objects up to 50 pounds Ability to wipe high and low shelves, pick up debris off the floor, and sweep floor in station Job Benefits Employee Referral Program College Book Reimbursement Flexible Hours 401K Advancement Opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr Workstream
