Responsibilities
- Perform specialized mammography examinations of the breast to aid diagnosis and treatment.
- Operate dedicated mammography equipment, ensuring image quality and patient safety.
- Prepare and position patients, communicate procedures, and provide comfort throughout the exam.
- Collaborate with radiologists to review images and determine appropriate additional views when needed.
- Maintain accurate imaging documentation, patient records, and equipment logs; adhere to QA and safety protocols.
- Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and patient privacy standards; keep the imaging area organized and equipment properly maintained.

Requirements
- Ability to perform mammography procedures with attention to quality and patient care.
- Knowledge of radiation safety practices and infection control standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support patients and clinical staff.
- Ability to work a day shift schedule (8-hour shifts, 5 days per week) in a fast-paced imaging environment.
- Prior experience in breast imaging or mammography is preferred.
- Licensure and certification requirements will be defined per state and employer guidelines.
