Special Education Teacher

Ready to help students thrive throughout the 2026-2027 school year? Cross Country Education is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to support diverse learners across Pre-K-12 settings in Lancaster, SC.

Position Overview:

• Provide specialized instruction to K-12 students with disabilities across resource, co-taught, self-contained, and specialized classroom settings.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), including instructional goals, accommodations, progress monitoring, and required documentation.
• Adapt curriculum, instructional strategies, and behavioral supports to meet students' diverse academic, functional, and developmental needs while supervising classroom assistants as needed.
• Collaborate with educators, families, classroom assistants, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement and promote inclusive learning environments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid South Carolina Special Education Certification, including Multi-Categorical or related certifications (ED, MD, EMD, or TMD/Severe)
• Experience supporting students with disabilities in a resource, co-taught, self-contained, or specialized classroom setting preferred
