As a Security Officer Screening Specialist in Edwardsville, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor access points, screen visitors and team members, and support badge and entry processes. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.99 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or personal items in accordance with post orders and site policies to help support security-related operations. Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, and document screening activity, incidents, and unusual conditions in a clear and timely manner. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and/or emergency services when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
