Job Description
Registered Respiratory Therapist

We are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team. This full-time position requires commitment to providing high-quality respiratory care in various patient settings.

Shift Details

Schedule: 3 twelve-hour shifts, days
Weekend Requirement: As needed
Holiday Requirement: As needed
Floating Requirements: May float to any unit throughout the organization, working with NICU, pediatric, and adult patients

Job Responsibilities

Perform all basic modalities of respiratory care as prescribed by physicians and licensed independent practitioners, adhering to established departmental policies and procedures.
Apply and manage mechanical ventilators in collaboration with healthcare providers, recommending adjustments to enhance clinical conditions and patient comfort, as well as to facilitate the weaning process.
Assemble, disassemble, operate, maintain, troubleshoot, clean, and make necessary adjustments to durable medical equipment and circuitry used in the delivery of prescribed respiratory care.
Conduct pulmonary and cardiology diagnostic testing as prescribed, in accordance with established departmental protocols.

Minimum Requirements

At least 1 year of professional experience in respiratory therapy
Certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
Current state licensure
