Position Overview

Detailed Responsibilities

• Execute a range of ultrasound procedures, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during examinations, articulating every phase with empathy and clarity
• Work in close partnership with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure superior diagnostic imaging
• Handle and maintain imaging equipment, immediately reporting any issues
• Meticulously document procedures and manage patient records through our electronic medical system
• Stay updated with advancements in ultrasound imaging practices and techniques

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Required Certifications

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a recognized equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
