Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical assessments and in-depth reviews of medical histories
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical conditions via the analysis of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work in tandem with surgeons to develop and implement patient-specific surgical treatment strategies
• Provide crucial intraoperative assistance, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring the correct positioning of patients, and passing surgical instruments during procedures
• Offer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, which includes administering medications, managing wounds, planning discharges, and educating patients

Education

• A Master's degree obtained from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a surgical focus is highly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant
