Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Experience with high-risk cardiology Cardiac drip management required Sheath pulls required Central line management required Description: This position involves working 12-hour day shifts in a telemetry unit. The patient-to-nurse ratios will range from 1:5 to 1:6. Clinicians are required to work every other weekend, totaling six weekend shifts in a six-week schedule. First-time travelers are accepted. Candidates will be floating within service lines as necessary. The facility supports interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy and respiratory services. Patient population includes adults with cardiac conditions. Daily census is approximately 30 patients, with adherence to safety and isolation precautions. Skills needed include management of cardiac drips, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and procedural sedation monitoring. Compliance with all requirements and responsibilities is essential for success in this role.
