Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Must have a valid nursing license in the state of practice Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, PALS, NIH required Must-Have: - Insertion of central lines - Arterial lines - Chest tubes - Post cardiac arrest hypothermia - Intubations - Code strokes - Code STEMIs - Code blue team management - Trauma patients - Pediatric patients and transfers - Management of mental health patients Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room during night shifts. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting. The nurse will care for a patient ratio of 1:3. Weekend shifts are required every other week. Knowledge of advanced procedures such as central line insertion and intubations is necessary. The role involves handling critical situations, including code blues and trauma cases. Traveling nurses will float within the service line as needed. There is a requirement to work with a diverse patient population, including pediatrics and adults. Flu vaccination is required unless a medical or religious exemption is provided. Compliance requirements must be met before the start of the assignment. Candidates should be prepared to complete necessary modules prior to the start date. No local candidates are accepted within a 75-mile radius. RTO restrictions apply throughout the contract duration. All licenses must be verified and comply with state regulations.
