Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Storm Search Sr. Executive Recruiter/Manager of Research and Technology at Storm Search - Your Trusted Advisor Job Title: Safety Manager Summary: The Safety Manager is responsible for leading and improving workplace safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promoting a strong safety culture. This role involves developing safety procedures, conducting audits, training employees, and managing safety records. Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Lead and support safety investigations, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures. Conduct safety audits and inspections of the facility, equipment, and work practices. Develop and update safety procedures, policies, and training programs. Analyze safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Perform job hazard analyses, ergonomic assessments, and risk evaluations. Oversee safety equipment inventory and environmental monitoring. Manage workers’ compensation claims and coordinate return-to-work programs. Lead safety meetings, training sessions, and new hire safety orientations. Maintain safety documentation, records, and reporting in safety management software. Support continuous improvement projects to reduce workplace risks. Provide guidance to managers and employees on safety best practices. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Technology, or related field. 5+ years of occupational health and safety experience in an industrial environment. Professional safety certification (SMS, GSP, ASP, or CSP) required. First Aid/CPR/AED certification preferred. OSHA training certification preferred. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
