Duties/Responsibilities
- Set up and break down station with required prep and supplies
- Prepare breakfast and brunch dishes to spec during high-volume service
- Maintain clean and organized workstation throughout service
- Follow food safety guidelines, including proper temperature control and sanitation
- Restock items as needed, label and rotate product (FIFO)
- Operate kitchen equipment including griddles, flat tops, convection ovens, slicers, toasters, etc.
- Follow daily prep lists and complete tasks in order of priority
- Participate in daily cleaning procedures and deep cleaning as scheduled
- At least 1 year of professional kitchen experience (breakfast/brunch preferred)
- Strong short-order and line cooking skills
- Familiarity with basic prep techniques and safe food handling practices
- Ability to manage multiple tickets and time dishes appropriately
- Experience using standard kitchen tools and equipment
- Able to lift 40 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work early morning shifts
- Current food handler’s certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Travel to and from the Island via Ferry fully covered as a part of total compensation package
- Weighted tip pooling included for ALL BOH staff
