Sous Chef/Kitchen Manager

Title: Kitchen Manager Location: New London Salary: $20-$25 Responsibilities The Kitchen Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily culinary operations of the assigned dining unit, including food production, staff supervision, and budgetary control. This role ensures food safety, quality, and service standards are met to meet the nutritional needs of students and staff. Oversee daily meal production, ensuring high-quality food, proper plating, and consistency. Maintain inventory, order supplies, and ensure food and labor costs remain within budgetary guidelines. Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation protocols (e.g., ServSafe) and oversee equipment maintenance. Coordinate with the Executive Chef/Dining Director on menu development and special event catering. Requirements 3-5+ years of supervisory experience or Sous Chef High volume background Impeccable communication skills Restaurant management knowledge Thorough knowledge of menu implementation with presentation ideas Catering experience Culinary degree strongly preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
