Sales And Marketing Specialist

We're looking for an energetic, people-first Sales and Marketing Specialist to help grow our brand presence and generate new business opportunities. We’re looking for someone who’s community-minded, adaptable, and excited to take on a variety of responsibilities as our team grows. In this role, you will blend marketing, event coordination, social media content creation, and business development to make a meaningful impact on the company. This position reports directly to the Owner. Responsibilities: Actively prospect and develop new business relationships through networking, community involvement, and lead generation efforts, with the opportunity to earn commission on converted leads Represent the company at chamber events, networking functions, and community gatherings to build brand awareness and drive business growth Plan, coordinate, and execute local events including tent setup/breakdown, swag bag prep, laptop setup, and on-site logistics Create, manage, and publish engaging content across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) to increase brand visibility and expand the referral network Answer inquiries efficiently and professionally with a confident, positive attitude and pleasant personality Coordinate meetings and activities including preparing agendas, handouts, and supporting documents Provide digital marketing support including social content creation, email marketing efforts, and campaign support Build and maintain relationships with local business contacts and community organizations Support follow-up efforts on marketing-generated leads Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree preferred (Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field) Strong understanding of social media platforms and content creation Comfortable attending networking and community events Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive, professional demeanor Basic understanding of marketing analytics and performance tracking Highly organized with strong attention to detail Self-starter who is comfortable working independently and in a fast-paced environment Compensation: Compensation includes a base salary plus commission opportunities for qualified leads generated and/or converted business Opportunity for growth within a growing insurance and financial services organization OTHER DUTIES: This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
