Labor & Employment Attorney

A well-established litigation firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Attorney to join their growing team across multiple California locations. This attorney will bring 2-10+ years of Labor & Employment litigation experience and a desire to take ownership of a meaningful caseload in a collaborative, no-ego environment. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-quality L&E matters while benefiting from strong mentorship and a firm culture that prioritizes professional development and balance.

Offer :
$160,000 - $225,000+ base salary, contingent on experience
Performance-based bonus structure
Hybrid remote flexibility across DTLA, Thousand Oaks, Orange County, and San Diego
1,850 billable-hour requirement
Supportive, non-bureaucratic team environment with close partner collaboration

Qualifications :
2-10+ years of Labor & Employment litigation experience; flexibility for the right candidate
Strong legal writing, analytical, and communication skills
Active California Bar license in good standing
Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
Ability to manage matters with increasing autonomy and sound judgment

Responsibilities :
Managing a caseload of Labor & Employment litigation matters with increasing independence
Drafting and developing pleadings, motions, discovery, and substantive legal analysis
Conducting depositions, court appearances, and hearings with mentorship available as needed
Working closely with partners to advance case strategy and client objectives
Contributing to a culture focused on quality work, balance, and attorney development
Taking ownership of matters and driving progress toward efficient, effective outcomes
