Shift Manager

Job Overview This position is for a Shift Manager in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. Responsibilities Lead shifts each week to ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. Provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift, maintaining quality, service, and cleanliness. Plan for each shift, monitor performance, and take action to meet McDonald’s standards. Monitor safety, security, and profitability and communicate with the next Shift Manager to help prepare them for their shift. Help assigned departments meet their goals and meet shift targets. Manage food safety, inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness. Manage crew, training, scheduling, and exceptional customer service. Qualifications Previous leadership experience preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. Positive team player with a flexible schedule who enjoys a fast‑paced work environment. Ability to work under pressure and meet targets while maintaining high standards. Must be 18 years or older to qualify for the manager position.
