Charge Nurse

Charge Nurse-LPN Location: The Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg, Hollidaysburg, PA 16648 Position: Part Time 2nd; Occasional shifts available; Competitive rates. This role provides direct nursing care to residents and supervises the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nurse aides. The Nurse Management Team works on the floor with staff to provide the highest quality resident care. Responsibilities Perform all prescribed medication passes during shift according to orders. Provide nursing care to residents and supervise the day‑to‑day operations of nurse assistants. Report all accidents/incidents and changes in a resident’s condition observed on shift. Supervise the nursing staff and report to the Director of Nursing. Maintain flexible hours and days of work as needed. Qualifications GPN or graduate of an LPN program. Minimum of one year of experience in a long‑term care setting preferred. Ability to lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 50 lbs. Benefits Competitive hourly rate.
