Company Overview

OLA Vacations, a growing brand in the travel and cruise industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Generalist to oversee and support people operations across the organization. This role will play a critical part in supporting the company’s continued growth by helping build scalable HR processes, strengthening employee engagement, and aligning human resources strategies with business objectives.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on HR professional who can operate effectively in a fast-paced environment while helping support the operational and strategic needs of a growing travel organization. This position is located in our new Las Olas office in downtown Fort Lauderdale.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

• Manage full-cycle recruiting across multiple departments and business functions.
• Develop onboarding and training programs to support employee success and retention.
• Partner with leadership on workforce planning and staffing needs.
• Assist with succession planning and organizational development initiatives.

Employee Relations & Culture

• Serve as a trusted resource for employees and management on HR-related matters.
• Promote a positive, professional, and collaborative workplace culture.
• Support performance management processes and employee engagement initiatives.
• Assist in conflict resolution and employee relations matters when needed.

Payroll, Benefits & Compliance

• Administer payroll, benefits, and HR compliance processes using ADP and other HR systems.
• Support benefits enrollment and employee communication regarding company programs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.

Strategic HR Support

• Help develop and improve HR policies, procedures, and operational workflows.
• Support leadership with organizational planning and change management initiatives.
• Assist with implementation of scalable HR systems and best practices.
• Contribute to company initiatives focused on employee development and retention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of progressive HR experience, including experience in an HR Generalist role.
• Strong understanding of employment law, payroll administration, and benefits management.
• Experience with HRIS systems; Paylocity experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
