General ManagerSTRIDE is a boutique treadmill studio experience that is here to reinvent the definition of a runner. Coached running classes are led by expert trainers in a supportive and empowering environment with state-of-the-art equipment and electrifying music. STRIDE aims to create a space where running is understood at all levels to be an essential mode of fitness and recognized by everyone as one of the easiest, most engaging, and most effective ways to achieve your mental & physical goals. The General Manager will oversee all Studio functionality including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and all Studio Certified Run Coaches.Responsibilities:Manage lead generation, membership sales and retentionManage and grow all revenue streams: memberships & retailManage studio budget, spending, and reportingCreate and execute ongoing marketing plan based on studio needs with a focus on new client acquisition, activation, retention and loyaltySchedule/participate in Grassroots Marketing partnerships on a weekly basis to drive new guest trafficWork with Studio Owner and Director of Education to optimize class schedule on an ongoing basisRecruit, hire, train, supervise, coach, mentor and terminate all studio staff (with support of Head Coach)Manage staff scheduleManage maintenance issues, inventory and cleanliness of studioParticipate in studio, regional and company-wide meetings and trainings as neededWork closely with Studio Owner and National Sales Director to ensure health and profitability of the studioSocial media managementJob Requirements:2+ years of retail sales or fitness sales experience, as well as experience supervising employees successfullyConfident in generating personal sales and training Sales Reps in salesAbility to work independently and collaborate with Studio OwnerAbility to manage and drive revenue streams: memberships & retailMust be fluent in English and have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone and via emailStrong customer service skillsAbility to excel in a fast changing, diverse environmentAbility to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgementAn affinity and passion for fitnessSolid written and grammatical skillsHighly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlinesProfessional, punctual, reliable and neatStrong attention to detail and accuracyTrustworthy and ability to handle confidential informationAbility to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients and the general publicProficiency with computers and Studio softwarePhysical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.May be required to sit or stand for up to four hours at a timeMay be required to reach with hands and armsMust be able to bend, lift, kneel, and drive a carMust be able to climb up and down flights of stairs as elevators are not present at all locationsMay be asked to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and the ability to adjust and focusMust be able to effectively hear in person and via telephoneCompensation & Benefits:This position offers a very competitive base salary; based on experience & performanceCommission paid on salesOpportunity to bonus, based on performance
