Lead Teacher - Beanstalk Academy
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Teacher to join our team at Beanstalk Academy in The Bronx, New York. As a Lead Teacher , you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing childcare experience for our young students. With a focus on teamwork and collaboration, you will work together with our families and staff to give each child the confidence and skills to succeed.

Responsibilities
As a Lead Teacher , you will be responsible for:
• Structuring a learning environment that promotes child health and safety
• Planning and leading classroom instruction that is developmentally appropriate and meets the needs of children
• Actively engaging with families to ensure parents/caregivers are knowledgeable about the child’s program
• Implementing a developmentally appropriate daily schedule, including the incorporation of transitions and age-appropriate opportunities
• Creating a safe, warm, and nurturing environment for students that is conducive to learning
• Supporting implementation of behavior plans and/or IFSP/IEP goals, as appropriate
Requirements
• BA in ECE (Early Childhood Education) or related field - Study Plan Eligible
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in early childhood education
