CAD programmer

Job Description Prepare technical drawings and designs used by production to build various products for the paperboard packaging, label, gasket and other converting industries. Your Task Field Use of proprietary CAD software to prepare/generate manufacturing file programs. Generate CAD projects from various forms of customer data ranging from existing program files, blueprints, and specifications. Use of various measuring equipment when needed based upon customer supplied data. Perform other work-related duties as assigned. Work as a member of a design team, cooperating with the team leader and with management in an effective manner to perform tasks with high quality. Make every effort to complete assignment on time and on schedule. Treat all Marbach information and customer information in a confidential manner. Inform supervisor of problems or issues which affect the companies' ability to meet customer requirements. Maintain and continually improve technical and professional abilities described above and required to perform assigned tasks. This may be done through reading and continuing education. Department Quality Control Generation of structural design blueprints for tool fabrication Documentation of customer specifications. Use of proprietary client management system Preferred Skills Strong computer skills CAD background preferred but not required.
